It's like wanting a new tv and you go do your research. In one magazine you have reviews of different products as they stack up against each other. And the other magazine you have is made by a specific company. You think you're gonna get real talk out of the company mag? The problem isn't asking questions, hell bible study noobs do that. It's when you ask a question that puts an air of adversity on the topic, that's when you get your problems. Like why does god need to wait to do what he's been itching to do this whole time? If everyone who was a dub is resurrected, and every human being on earth is not gonna die, and if we still have the task of filling the earth with people, how long would it take before earth becomes crowded? If we still have "free will" and we still can create things in the future how long before our creations wind up being the same destroyers of earth? I mean, unless we're gonna be all Amish.

humorous answers are appreciated, but if anyone knows the real answer to this, i'd appreciate it, just so my curiousity will shut up.. the witnesses teach that the book of revelation is a book of symbols.
that's how they determined that hell is symbolic of being dead forever and that hell literal doesn't really exist.

Dropped from my Bible Study like a hot potato

i was also attending meetings, but never went out in field service.
during a recent study, i told the conductor that i didn't believe in the 'annointed' & didn't believe the fds had a 'hotline' to jehovah.

I mean I could've respected it a little more if they had thrown their ex-jw numbers for the year in there too, but to completely bulldoze past and diffuse the question with more dogma was just filth. The way it's designed it's like no one has left, or at least no one worth talking about. And that, much like the people in these seating arrangements at these CONventions is just wrong on so many levels. I mean, they're scaring the next generation of dubs into believing this crap. Well in case you missed it, they hardly talk about those years anymore. How could they be so wrong about those dates? Supposedly when god said something to someone previously....oh about a couple thousand years ago, what he said couldn't have been misconstrued. "Noah! You shall build an ark that's XXX feet high and XXXX meters wide. And gather up two of each animal and take them inside with you. For in XX years there will be a great flood that will wipe out every living thing on the earth. So do it....do it." When did the flood come? Right on schedule. When Moses led his people to the sea, did they chill out there for some days, months, years, decades, centuries? Or was the sea parted expediently? Basically god got off his ass and did something back in the day, but now we have to beg, plead, pray, and cry out. For what? What else does he really have to do? I've been told that god gets to us in his own time. Negative. A god who is without time should not have us jumping through these hoops. We are the linear creatures, not him. If we pray there is an urgency within us, and I'm sure that many of us call when we're at the end of our rope. Yet he still lays around, supposedly watching everything, so that makes him an accessory. F--k him.
